Learning Thai Alphabets and its symbols
The first step any student needs to do before going further to the next level, they will need to remember and recognise-
- the name of each alphabet,
- its sound,
- and its symbol.
Each Thai letter is compound by at least three components that you will need to start to remember. See one example here:
The first letter of Thai alphabet is ก. The name of this alphabet is ก ไก่ (gor gai), the sound of it is กอ (gor), and its symbol is ไก่ (gai).
